I got through to their help line and managed to reduce the amount to about £30.
However, I was then put through to their "technical department" who eventually wanted to access her laptop and her downloaded documents. I smelt rattus rattus then and pulled the plug.
Could the genuine McAfee agent have transferred me to his mate and a scam?
