Yeah, it wasn't that.
Last we were there, we were visiting Mousehole, and there was an adorable young Cornish lass running the local grocery store. We were talking, and in course of conversation I asked "Are you originally from here?" since she had a distinct Cornish accent.
"No" she says. "I'm originally from Newlyn" ....
Since I'd been out walking that day, I already knew that the distance from Mousehole to Newlyn is measured in yards, not miles ....
