Was caught out by someone on a crossroads junction today waiting to pull out from my right to go straight accross the junction.

The driver decided to wait until I was nearly at the junction and then pulled out.

Had to pull on the brakes with all my might, and felt the ABS kick in, luckily the driver put their foot down otherwise I would have probably hit the rear quarter.

A proper sixpence / half crown moment.

Was within the 40 speed limit, not had one that close for a very long time.

Just for good measure near home I was in a 30 limit with some idiot right up my arse, then came the 20 limit, and he decided to pass me, making the driver coming the other way brake to avoid him.

Seems to be a lot of them about today.
