Nothing like an Avon, then. ;-)

No - a couple of decades later than the Avon handlebar fairings with the long snout - usually plenty of those on Ebay & IIRC Hitchcocks still sell a new version.

The Craven fairing is "period correct" for my 1978 TS250/1. A chap by the name of Dave Baynam (sp?) did a long distance ride (nearly 50k miles IIRC - need to dig out the articles) on a TS250/1 around '78/'79 & had one of these fairings + the factory leg shields. I have a NOS set of the factory legshields in stock so could, in theory, replicate that bike. Though as the factory TS legshields are very much not the most stylish arrangement of bent tubes and angular pressed steel held together with a big bag of bolts, maybe just stick with the top bit !
