I said further down in another post how good the Morini valve seats look, and they do, in the head and on the inlet valves.

Taking a closer look at the exhaust valves, they are shot, both have a tiny crack from the edge of the valve accross the seating face, so I am amazed that the seats in the heads are so good.

Clearly the cracks would not have been good for compression or performance.

Valve clearances were correctly set by the way, perhaps I need to use Valvemaster or similar after the rebuild.

The hunt is now on for 2 new Ex valves.
