Probably run it under light load, keep the revs down for a few hundred, going to ask the question on the Morini Riders Club forum.

Given that it is a high reving engine - Max power is at 8K it might need to be run in at higher revs.

For the Kawa 2 strokes recommendation is to run them in like you stole them !! always done that when I have re ringed them and not had any problems.

Think the trick is to make sure that the rings bed in and do nto glaze the bores.
