I was getting 50p a week for a paper round 6 days a week around 1975/76. The round included going ine early to make up the round in delivery order from the order book before setting off.

I was getting £1.50 a week in 1970, and that was for both AM and PM deliveries. 50P would have been slave labour, and not enough to buy the latest Motorcycle Mechanics.
