By working hard when a teenager, it paid off. I began full time work aged 15 and 6 Months so at 16, i could buy a motorbike so was riding it on my Birthday. At 17, i was driving a car on my birthday. Most of my school mates were still at school so i was well ahead. Then, i was able to get married at 20 and begin saving a lot more by doing 45 hours in the daytime and another 5 hours every night in a bar.
Most of my schoolmates had now begun low paid work as the education certificates they had, although good, did not bring any work opportunities. Some did get work in banking and surveying etc but most when reaching 50 were laid off. Some then became taxi drivers.
Some Grandchildren have begun work early and the twins have bought an expensive house at age 23.Another is a store manager at age 23 and now has a BMW coupe and will rise up in the Home Bargains chain. I have a hard working family generally.
