In my roof Geoff I have the metal remains of an Italian Carcano service rifle that I retrieved from the mud in a bay in Corfu, around 1970, where the Axis forces evacuated to Albania, 1944?
On my desk I have the clip of 6 shiny brass rounds, including the misfired one that was in the breach when found it.
What a story there must be there.
