Some fire departments will not try and put out buildings with solar panels due to the high voltages present. I know Exmouth brigade just watch on and protect the next door houses and let the solar house burn. It may be difficult to insure houses with solar in the next few years.
My family installs solar panels but none of them have it on their own houses. You make nothing from them as payback will take 25 years during which you would have replaced the invertor about 3 times. Solar panels are only good in fields for safety
We have one house nearby with about 40 pigeons under the panels. They fitted wire cages to stop them and the birds managed to rip it all out. It gets very smelly when one dies and begins cooking
