Edited by Andy C on March 8, 2026, 10:37 am Interesting what the drivers have to say about the cars have a read.
Now that Colette is no longer here I probably will not bother. To be honest over that last few years I have lost interest in it anyway.
Think I saw somewhere that they are running nearly 50/50 battery and IC engine power this season, and a lot of the "skill" is going to be about how they "manage" battery life.
For me there seems to be too many rules these days, and often teams / drivers complaining about the slightest "infringement".
Think that the days of Hunt / Mansell / Senna and Schumacher were the best days, too many rules / too much moaning these days, as well as too much technology in the cars.
One of the few modern drivers worth watching is Verstappen - that man is an old school racer, he sees an opportunity and he goes for it.
One thing they could do which I think would be a gamechanger is get shot of the pit / car radio and leave decisions up to the drivers, also bring back manual gear changes.
F1 has lost it's soul for me and is just no longer as interesting / entertaining as it once was.
Each to his own I guess.
Who needs a signature anyway......![]()
