Put it on the roller starter and it fired up at higher engine speeds and ran but the GP carbs are clogged. We know it runs so ordering a pair of new 32mm concentrics next. About 500 pounds i expect but then the GP carbs will sell for over 600 pounds.
Next stage is a few more adjustments and checks then run it with new carbs. Once that runs, the Boyer ignition and new coils are being fitted.
I expect this bike will need 1500 pounds in parts to make it really good and it will need a new fuel tank very soon as it still has a fibreglass one fitted but not leaking yet.
Still, its good fun fixing this 1966 bike and it will run for Summer riding.
