Albanian criminals including those who arrived on small boats are being jailed at a rate of one every two days.

During the first three months of the year, some 63 Albanians were sent to prison for a combined 207 years.

Albanians account for 9 per cent of all inmates in British prisons, with many believed to have illegally crossed the Channel to enter Britain.
