Nay, lad, everyone left on this here forum knows how to act in public, no one's going to get their feelings hurt by someone's opinion about world events.

We got two problems when we talk about these sort of world events, and I include myself.

One is that many people in the world, and some in the USA, have opinions that are driven not by objective and quantifiable data, but by an intense, rabid, unreasoning, white-hot hatred of the man Donald Trump, aided and abetted by legacy media treated as gospel truth.

Those of us who cringe sometimes at his behavior, but can see the positive results developing in the US economy, in the stopping of the flow of illegal immigrants into the US, in the control of crime in places like Washington DC so it can be visited again, in recovering control of accurate elections, don't quite understand why that is, but luckily we're a majority at the moment.

Second is evident here. USA First ... So if another country has made themselves dependent on foreign energy and manufacturing, doesn't have control of their borders, etc and is feeling the pain as Uncle Sugar quits subsidizing the rest of the world, well, they have to sort that out. It's not Trump's job to fix that.

When I'm here, I'm trying to absorb your lived daily experience, what you see and how it effects you, not get some rehash of "facts" or "debunking" from some massively biased source like the Guardian or Fox or CNN.

I'm not going to get mad at anyone here over this stuff. I value people's lived input even if I, upon mature consideration, have to reject it.....
