Morris Minor were a bit of fun on bends if pushed too hard. If you rolled one, it rolled very well on that curved roof. Rear spring hangers used to go up through the boot floor and that clutch or brake cylinder under the floor was a pain.
I had a Peugeot 205 1.9 diesel and it was a very good runner with just 60 bhp. Sold that one and bought a 1.4 Peugeot 206 diesel.
The cars of around 2002 were much more reliable than a new car now. They also have super low road tax of about 30 pound. best car was Vauxhall astra 2 litre diesel with no road tax at all for 2011 and 165bhp.
