passenger just a few scrapes Den. This must have been quite a low speed at contact point. The police closed the road for measurements and took 8 hours to fully map it out. This boy had been living at my Sisters house for 18 Months to keep her company after her own son died aged 25 years. He always called her when out to let her know what time he would be back and had no call this time until a message came in from plod.
I have a lot of Grandchildren and Nephew/Nieces so have lost 3 just in the last few years at young ages. The Grandchild that died on a bike was a pillion just having a lift to work and the rider decided to do 70mph in a housing estate and hit a wall.
The one in hospital now has a younger Brother just about riding age so hopefully, he will not get a bike but wait for a car.
In 1959, my Brother hit a car head on with a pillion. Went through the car screen with multiple fractures but survived and lived until 75 so some good luck.
