Not walked on our beach for many years now although the holiday makers like the sand and views. It was a good swimming beach in the 1960s for us kids.
The area is heavily used by windsurfers and kite surfers which is interesting to watch. There was a time when Bass boats would drift down the Estuary all made of wood clinker built but those days of the rich retired are gone now. Possibly about 3 hobby boats drift in Bass season. In the 60s, i can remember Bass at around 10lb being landed but it got over fished. I like sea Bass but very expensive to buy.
I gave up my own boat as it was just too hard to keep it and a lot of work to get it out.
