When they changed the traffic direction in Totnes, all the shops began to close and after a lot of arguing, they changed it back so there was through traffic.
There is a new scheme coming to Exmouth soon which narrows the main road down so cars cannot use the left turn lane to Town. It will be funny to watch as all the cars going to the seafront stop all the cars going into town.
So they built a very wide road about 35 years ago and it was a great new way to the seafront. Now, they are going to block half its width for no particular reason as they say.
