I have been in the garage altering a fuel tap from being a reserve, to a main tap. JB weld a bit of brass tube into it then fit a gauze filter on that they usually have.
First job Today was 1 new car tyre that i clipped on a kerb and it ripped a lot of rubber off the sidewall. Ultra low profile so a good idea to get it off as i have no spare wheel. First tyre i have bought in about 20 years for major damage. Last one was on a Renault and it picked up a very large steel bolt and a big hole in the tread. My car tyres tend to last over 30,000 miles but i dont have the car long enough to do that many now.
