In the process of deciding how I am going to take my pensions.

I started drawing the state pension last Month but since I am still working my tax at the moment is horrendous.

I could have deferred the state pension but given the miserly amount extra that you get paid if you defer it I would probably have to live to be 100+ to get it all back.

My thinking is bugger it I have paid into it all my working life so time I got some benefit.

Got a nice surprise with the Company shares I bought over the years, we get to by them at a preferential rate. They are worth a tidy sum but best of all when you cash them in they are tax free.

Have mixed feelings about retiring, but I am sure that wwhen the day comes I will be OK.
