I picked up an unwelcome bolt in the front tyre of my Golf about a year ago - could not be plugged because of where it was in the tyre. Pity as the tyre still had a lot of life in it.

It was a huge bolt about 1 1/2" long and 8mm in diameter.

Getting a bit brighter here now, but the wind has got up, might go out on one of the bikes later this afternoon we shall see.
