I am fortunate to have a few shillings in the bank Andy and good neighbours where I currently live. The neighbours aren’t “ in your face” but there if needed so I don’t see the necessity to move, possibly into a less comfortable area, but if the shillings run out who knows.
And in response to the “old one” if it’s all the same to you I really don’t want to hear about the “freebies” you are enjoying at the Council’s expense. The Council has no money of its own only what it can get from Government grants and the large amounts it screws out of us current Council tax payers. I wish you well in your new home and life and hope all is well for you and your future but don’t keep reminding me who is paying to support your well-being or many others around the Country who are less well off.
