Yesterday morning trip to Exmouth minor injuries unit as i had something in my right eye very irritating I with other people waited for over three hours ..eventually seen and the doctor did various tests and couldn't find anything in the eye
So was told to phone my Surgery to arrange and urgent appointment to go to the eye department at our main hospital ... Maz drove me back to our Surgery to see the doctor ... No ruddy doctor???
Was told go to A&E try there
So Off to A&E at Exeter hospital ( a toure around our village as there are roadworks the main road is shut..
Turn up at A&E get seen to a doctor asking what's wrong then tells me to walk along the main corridor and have my mobile phone switched on full volume as I will receive a phonecall from the eye unit its the only area that the phone works due to the construction of the hospital
Get the call go to the eye department and get seen to..urgently examination of the eye discovered that I have no lubrication of my eyes which I already know .known as Blepharitis I already have drops for this the young Chinese doctor couldn't have been more helpful she removed ingrowing eye lashes gave me all the information I need ..
Maz drives me home another four hours later.
