I believe that you can get "dry" K&N filters which don't need oil, but I know the ones for the H2 are oiled versions.
Had one on my last H2, but as I fitted it new I never had to re oil it.
Wish the weather would improve as I am itching to test it 
Who needs a signature anyway......
