There are a lot of classic cars and sports cars gathering around this area Today and they appear to be more towards Exeter area. A lot of old bikes always gather in Exeter for a Sunday ride. This, with all the leisure traffic heading for the coast just jams up all roads so there is no pleasure riding air cooled bikes at 5 mph. It takes 1 hour 20 minutes to get the 10 miles from Exmouth to Exeter by car but much quicker on a bicycle.
Exeter to Exmouth may take longer due to a 2 mile jam leading into the town for the seafront gatherers. Then get on the seafront and find no parking as 100 caravans have parked overnight and the streets are now residents only. Some beachgoers are parking 3 quarters of a mile out and walking to the beach.
Very popular in the Summer but hold onto your wallet and phones, bicycles and scooters and clamp the steering wheel on your Range Rover. Keep children in sight to avoid the large groups of Foriegn men that sit overlooking the beach
