I just bought an eight-day mechanical chiming mantel clock, I always wanted one.
Now my house has a voice. Same chime as my great-grandfathers clock, which was made in the 1880s and is still chiming at my sister's house.
Keeps great time. I wind it every Saturday, and every three Saturdays I set it back one minute.
