Today, for a change, it will be sunny with no rain on this annual ride for British bikes only. Mostly elderly riders now and most will be over 70.
They do concede to a modern bike or 2 for riders who can no longer hold an old bike up.
A few years ago, one of these riders brought a brand new 125 and hit a car in a lane due to the change of the brake and gear lever. Its not often a rider goes down on this ride as its mostly lanes with lowish speeds.
So many times this ride attracted rain storms and hailstorms but just this time, it is guaranteed sunshine.
