Stop saying the work word Andy !. I was offered a job this week at 50k but i cannot work now aged near 73. Electrician and plumbing jobs often have a start pay at 50k now. I was earning that in 2010 with a lot of hours but i had no time for me so at 59,i stopped it all.
It would be a good job for a school leaver as it was when i was 15 and out to work. I had bought a house when aged 20 by working very long hours. About 80 a week to get a 10 percent deposit back then in the early 70s. I had to save 500 quid and in that year, i did it then gave up the long hours.
