Stuck my leg over the H2 at about 6AM this morning, lovely cool air and deserted roads.

Did my usual 40 or so miles calling in at a roadside "breakfast" van.

A decent cup of coffee and a bacon and egg bap - £4.75 an absolute bargain.

None of your miniscule Mc Donalds portions, this was a proper sized bap, 4 rashers of bacon and a hard fried egg.

The bloke who runs the van prides himself on using local produce, and charging fair prices.

I expect I'll be back sometime.

Came across a bloke driving one of those old Field Marshal Tractors on one of the back roads - the big single cylinder diesel tractor, lovely sound and smell.
