I notice that on the 1 charity run that I do every year, there are very few old Brits. Best bike award this year went to a GT750 kettle, but rightly so the condition looked better than new.

Think was around 120 entries this year, many of the old faces I used to see there are no longer there, quite likely deceased.

There are a few "youngsters" but not that many.

Having non ridden bikes is a good thing for people that can no longer ride but still do restorations, they ought to have separate prizes for ridden and non ridden.

Guess I'll take the H2 next year, as it was not quite ready for this years event.

Hardly see any "classic" bikes on the road around here these days, plenty of big v twins, a few crotch rockets, and the odd "adventure" bike.

Times change I guess.
