There does seem to be a brighter future for these events as the old clunkers die and are replaced by a newer generation from the 70s & 80s.

I overheard one pithy comment from one of this new generation that he has absolutely no interest in "British rubbish" or the "old tramps" who ride them.

Maybe natural selection is replacing glass half empty generation with a glass half full one?
