There is a "generation gap" in play and the disregard in which the generations hold each other isn't helping either.

Unfortunately there has often been too much antagonism between different factions / generations, whether its Mods v Rockers, Brits v Japs, Sportsbikes v Cruisers etc etc.

When these attitudes prevail I walk away which is why I don't do a lot of events any more.

I am just grateful there is anyone taking up motorcycling and hope they learn to appreciate there is more to it than their niche interest.
