Application for my second over 70 licence came by post.
It said i could do it online so filled it in, registered a login.
Gave multiple proof it was me.
Passport number.
Driving licence number and dates.
Lived in this house 43 years etc.
Then, it asks for an i-phone and i dont have one so have to use alternatives they gave me.
Eventually, their system said they could not identify me as a department could not confirm something but they could not say what one.
I am now locked out of the application so have to apply by a piece of paper and an envelope including my licence.

Just another piece of crap requiring an I-phone which i do not need or have.
When its due, try renewing without an i-phone. Its a lot of fun as they go through bank details and ask the day your pension is paid etc. Its the new improved system and its broke already. Last time when i was 70, it was so easy with no phone.
My holiday in a few weeks will be interesting as many venues require an i-phone to get in. I take cash or card because that is what i have. No i-phone so i cant get in. 2 places i can confirm is the Acropolis in Athens and the castle in Naples so far. No such problems in the Caribbean where Dollar bills are king and some islands are Euros
