Went in for the tests and ordered veri focals with tints for driving at a cost of 360 pounds. Mrs had a pair of normal ones at 120 pounds. Interesting that if you are a bit low on state pension it is virtually free for standard types.
The cost was reasonable and a lot less than the Dentist rips us off.
I was able to look out the optician window and saw 2 new barber shops next to each other and 3 shops away there are 2 more, then a new tanning studio and another nail bar. The laundering business is increasing and we now have about 20 of these fake businesses in the Town centre and only 2 have been forced to close so far. There is a lot of drug cash here now we have no police but local traders are asking for police as they are getting robbed daily and many have shut then taken over as barbershops
