In Dominican republic there were many Honda cubs being used to carry 2 adults and 2 children and a gas bottle strapped on.
They also have a lot of Kawasaki 115cc 2 strokes. Odd to make a 115cc bike but maybe there is a need due to taxation class.
More recently, there are not so many cubs and 2 strokes are more popular.
Now, Morocco have hundreds of Mobylettes that are used as commuters and the roads i saw them on, it would have been a 30 mile run between towns. They all looked very worn out and a few were broken down but other mobylette riders would stop and help.
Caribbean is now so rich due to tourism, there are very few poor locals now that have to ride little bikes. 20 years ago you could see the true Caribbean life but now most are driving American V8 trucks and modern saloon cars mostly Korean and Renault where the island is French Governed.
There is nothing left out there to buy and bring back like there was in the 1990s
