It's pretty obvious that the 'scientific' testing is pointless - it must be down to an individual fit/bike/stance/screen etc combo.

I love BMW air cooled bikes but I love my hearing more. I can't face the reliability/complexity of an old K1100LT anymore (the wiring on them is enough to give you a nightmare) although they are the best big tourer I've ever owned and very cheap now.

The V Strom with the Givi screen is quite ok but I would love to keep another Airhead but not if I can only do 40mph!
