When a van knocked my wall down, the culprit left a note so i went to his house and he told me to say his BMW did it. I told him i dont do insurance fraud. The van belonged to the MOD and he had unofficially borrowed it to move house. I had to threaten him with reporting to his Commandant at the Royal Marines and that resulted in him paying a builder to renew the wall.
Nasty Marine Corporal but he would have lost his job for trying insurance fraud. he returned the damaged van without reporting what he had done. That van was used by maintenance so one of my boys used to drive it.
Since then, i have 4 cameras running focusing on the perimeter of the house and recording on a 1 TB recorder
