Good to hear (no pun intended) that you have sorted the issue out.

Had a similar issue with the Himalayan when I first had it, not wind noise but buffeting, it felt like being punched in the head.

Solution was to cut the screen off, a lot of folk with Himalayans do that, or fit a much higher screen or one of those ugly deflectors.

Himalayan has over 18,000 miles on it now, never missed a beat.
