Worst bike ever? Moto Guzzi V75 an absolute heap of junk, Ducati 900SSie and ST2 were close runners up.

Most underrated - got to be a Yamaha FJ1200. Even now a mighty sports tourer which had the ground taken from under it by the GPz900R launched a few weeks later. Absolutely unburstable engine and gearbox. The ultimate Jap air-cooled four: fantastic handling and simple to maintain. An utter joy to ride and smooth endless torque to die for.

These days - I'd say the 650 V Strom is totally underrated except by owners. All the big, flash gargantuan pretend off-road adventure tanks eclipse what is (was, they stopped making it last year) the bargain buy of the last 20yrs but I suspect it's much the better bike. I love mine - just don't have any need for it!
