2 overrated, if I may.
1. the original Z1. Dealer encouraged me to ride one of the very first available. Lovely engine, very on-off throttle (that was me not yet used to such things), but absolutely hideous handling. Frame whip worse than a worn out, old, pre-unit Triumph Thunderbird, but at much more speed. Turning right out of junctions was positively dangerous. Gave it back after 25 miles & said I'd never ride another. Even refused rides on the later modified frames, until I rode a Rickman Z1. A bit tall for me, but a real peach.
2. a crazy chopper being built by a mate's business. Huge length forks. I rode it before it was painted across the yard in front of the small units & fell off when I tried to steer. A good laugh but...
