geoff , forget the £4000 "discount" for a moment , thats a trap

the goverments "luxury" ved of about £600 on top of basic road tax , and runs for 5 yrs is based on the on the road list price BEFORE any discounts

so if your car is £41k list and they offer you £4k off , you still pay the luxury tax
