Looking around Holland and Sweden, they seem to invest in the wind turbines out at sea. There are 1000s of them in the Baltic sea and also oil rigs.
Its a shame that Britains wind turbine installations got blocked by the Conservative government but its starting up again to install a lot more.
Most of the Baltic Countries have a lot of bicycle travel as the land is often very flat and the roads are given wide bicycle lanes.
This current decline in the car market will pick back up as it often does.
As good quality car prices rise above 40k now, the road tax will stop a few buyers as tax can be 1400 for some 2 litre cars. I suppose makers will try and retail at under 40k.
