The turbines and panels are not going to work.

Suppose the energy need at any given time for an area, fed by gas, nuclear, coal, and hydro, is (say) 100 megawatt-hours.

While the wind is blowing and sun is shining, the sun and wind can supply, say, 25% of that need. Or 50%, if you like.

But while the sun is shining and the wind is blowing, you CANNOT turn off the petro and nuclear and hydro plants. They must stay hot; they cannot cool off and come right back up. You have to keep the fires going, all the time.

And when the sun goes in and the wind stops blowing, the base load plants must INSTANTLY give you 100 megawatt-hours again.

So "renewables" can NEVER replace "base load"; the cost of staffing, capital cost, fuel, maintenance, etc continues for the base load plants whether you are using them or not. Sun and wind are simply a cost adder that does nothing and saves nothing.

No one has batteries that can run a continent all night, by the way, so that's a non-starter.

All a scam to pump-and-dump stocks. Just like "AI" and "Data Centers".
