Good that you have found space inside your van for the spare.
The holding the wheel in with a piece of wire is a crap idea - single point of failure.
It would be a better design if there was a bolted in clamp holding the wheel in place that had to be removed before lowering the wheel down on a piece of wire.
It would also be better for everyone if the spare was kept inside.........
Who needs a signature anyway......
