Nice flat 4 VW engine in a Porsche. Smart little car but they did rust well compared to the modern bodies they make now. 20 year old Porsche rarely have any body rust now with panels being plated. There is a 1984 928 in the workshop now being welded where the plastic lower body kit trapped water but it is over 40 years so expected.
Biggest new move in the garage is rustproofing new MG cars which come with untreated underside and rust out in less than 4 years. Repeat buyers know this so bring their new car in for a coating.
Motorhome customers are bringing in a lot now after parking on the seafront in the salt air. They need sandblasting to remove the rust.
