Screening is a good idea and also allows research into the harm caused by smoking and asbestos. 3 people i worked with did die from asbestos exposure and they were house painters who applied artex but in the same building as a good few others and mixed with a spinning attachment in a bucket so dust everywhere.
About 4 years ago i had screening for bowel cancer but it was polyps so had 3 removed. They were predicted to turn into a cancer.
I had the very long telephone interview so now have to go to a portable unit at Tesco October 22nd
