Just be sure the belt has been changed in its recent history.
Looking at what comes into the garage here, the Honda Jazz has virtually no faults.
One of my boys only buys old Honda Civic diesels for his high mileage driving. The current one is a 2.2 diesel and now at 280,000 miles with just oil changes but does wear steering parts that need replacing at around 60,000 mile intervals. The Hondas need to be about 2009 models before all the electronic crap.
However, my old Vauxhall astra diesel i bought new in 2011 now has 168,000 miles on it with its current owner and is doing about 30,000 miles a year and very few faults at MOT time. The low mileage Nissan i had in 2017 is now failing each MOT on steering, brakes and tyres so not maintained very well by an owner doing 3000 miles a year
When looking at a car, check its MOT history from new and just see how many times it passes and how many fails. You can do this on the GOV.UK search for MOT history.
Most cars now really need regular oil changing just to prevent turbo failure. Dont leave oil in for over 6000 miles. Buy an oil suction pump that drains oil through the dipstick and it becomes very easy for DIY then change the oil filter at 12,000 miles max
