Well of course they removed them. It's like having a bomber base in the middle of Syria.

A bunch of hooded jihadis with cars full of explosives are caught at the fence a few hundred yards from $10 billion worth of bombers ...

... and then they are "released on bail" a few hours later.

Maybe these are the same guys with razors slashing people's pockets open and stealing their wallets. We can't catch any of them either, I guess ....
