Cheeky E-Bay vendor?

Made an offer for something on E-Bay over the weekend, as you know a seller will usually decline or send a counter offer, more often than not you can usually get things bit cheaper. |
Anyway, the vendor declined my offer and promptly cranked up the price of the item and removing the chance for anyone to make offers Ė fair enough I guess itís their choice.
I just felt a bit put out because the vendor sent me no counter offer or any response other than declined.
Bottom line is that the vendor lost the sale because I found another of the same on E-Bay that was cheaper than the new price put on the item by the vendor.
I think that he or she probably realised that the item they had for sale was under-priced as there are the same items on E-Bay for more, as I say vendorís choice.
Generally I sell stuff on E-Bay at a price that I am happy with, and if that happens to be a bit cheaper than other similar items so be it.
P.S. It was for motorcyle parts.....
Who needs a signature anyway......
