Chickened out today

Had to take a customers bike to an auction house this morning and decided that when I get back I would take the winter hack bike out for a ride. By the time I had got back and noticed the frost sign come up on my van dash I decided even for a wel'ard rocker with heated grips it was just too cold for a enjoyable ride. Oh well maybe next week.

Noticeably colder today, had some DIY stuff to do, and then collect Mum for her usual Sunday afternoon visit / ride out in the car.

Next weekend forecast looks good so lets hope it is.

2C here in the morning. Rising to 8C and now about 4C. Going to watch Formula 1 next.

Go west! I managed about 130 miles this morning around Welsh borders. Amazed it was warmer than forecast with no frost but there was remnants of yesterday's snow on the distant hilltops. Never the less damn glad to have heated everything plugged in & switched to max!

Don't you find how quickly you adjust to these temperatures.
A week ago 8C seemed damned cold but todays 4c seemed almost balmy.

CF, Cross border traffic is legal again unless you're from a highest tier 3 area of England.
